I was just on one of my favorite pattern sites to visit and they have several free patterns but I see they put out a new one.
This one is rather graceful I think.
I am going to purchase a couple myself. if you make an account so you can view all their patterns they give you a 5.00 off coupon for your very first pattern which is really awesome.
Also if you do one of their pieces and take a picture of the finished piece, they will give you a free pattern of your choice.
I think its pretty awesome.
Let me know what you girls think of her.

I just try and keep up to give you guys free patterns if you like
Be careful going on the site though it is addicting!
There are WAY to many animals and scenery designs on there.
I know I sure have my share of patterns from there.

The pattern is very beautiful. I would really like to get it but I don't have anyone to give it to. I have given my friends so many things, nobody has any wall space left. When I make things, I usually give them away as gifts and don't usually keep them for myself. It sounds like a great site and I will keep it in mind!

Well at least its free and you never know.
I got a pattern had no reason to get it. Just found out a friend of mine is getting married next year so I am going to do it for her.
I am just tired of the dark colors I have been working on. So it will be nice to work on a lighter designed piece for awhile.

well flick it off or don't put the petal on LOL
I can always count on you for a smile!
Or you can just refuse to stitch that part (remembering your recent cross stitch)
Huggs to you

That pattern looks really interesting. I have never worked from a pattern that wasn't part of a kit so I would be a little nervous about being able to get all the things I needed to be able to complete the project. My niece told me that one of the students I had worked with in China had given her a gift for me which was a kit for a Chinese character or something like that. My niece should be here by January so maybe I will have a free kit that I can work on if I ever finish my current project. One of these days I will understand how these patterns work. Perhaps you can contact me. I have moved so the number you called me at is no longer valid. Have a great weekend!!!

I don't think it is so much the type of stitches that is bothering me. My nephew said that I was doing it the same way he had done it when he had kits in both Canada and America. I think what really confuses me is figuring out all the colors needed and keeping track of where I am on the pattern and finding the material to do it on. I hope you are feeling well soon. Have a great week!!!

They are not hard. I have a feeling your type of stitching is different from what I am doing.
I was in a chinese shop getting take out and I had taken my project in to work on while I waited and a husband and wife own the business and she come out to see what I was doing and explained to me that theirs is very different.
I acknowledged that yes they did what we called a satin stitch very different but none the less very unique and beautiful.
Thats probably why when you view these patterns they look so different to you.
I have not been feeling good lately so I just got your message the other day I will try and call in a few days.
Maybe between the two of us we will have a good pain free day and can talk LOL
Have a good night!

I went and looked at the link you posted, it is an interesting peice. I personally wouldn't want to do it.
The deal is awesome, 5 dollars off is nice and then the reward of taking a picture of your finished product and then to be rewarded a free pattern is wonderful! I would love to order something too but I have unfinished peices that scream for my loving attention.sigh!
Having Stitching!

You need to have a basket like I do to put one piece in and when you are finally slowing down for the day watching a movie or such you might find yourself picking up your stitching while you watch a show.
Just a thought. Thats when I do the most of my stitching is while watching a good movie or when hubby comes home cause he is more boring than cross stitch
