bayern make superb performance in germany league and champions league mario gomez become a mosnter.. ribery had come back to his superb performance.. Manuel neur prove that he is right place in right club.. Toni Kroos is mature ,and thanks to Bastian.. where is the missing player?? Yes, robben... i read in article when bern schuster say that maybe robben is not suitable with jupp heynkes tactics and robben play from the bench but Beckenbauer say that Bayern still need robben and his influence... so what do you think about this left winger??

In the previous years I was discussing about this with other Bayern supporters and I was claiming the same what Schuster said, as Robben he was very egoistic and I don't like egoistic players, because they are not good for the team spirit. But Robben has evolved a lot and now he is also a team player. He is very talented and I guess that he belongs to Bayern's starting lineup, as long as he will keep playing for the team and not for himself. Robben is a great winger, but he is very fragile and gets injured a lot.

That was the case earlier, since Robben had a fight with Muller he is playing for the team also. So I guess he is an important player for Bayern.

I think Robben is a very good player. He was their key player when they reached the Champions League final two years back. I think he brings in an element of creativity and his skills off the bench will be very useful. Especially in the matches against bigger teams his experience and guile will be very useful for Bayern. Cheers! Ram

@adhyz: No, Bayern doesn't need to sell him, as he has become a different player, who cares for the team also. The only problem with him is that he is very fragile and so he cannot play all the games. But now he plays for the team, not form himself only.

Robben is a great player, no doubt about it, but I wouldn't name him the key player for that season. He was very egoistic in his first season at Bayern and he hasn't done any defensive work neither. When he was absent, Bayern played more better as a team. The most memorable game without Robben was the game against Manchester United at Munchen, where Bayern played very well. If we have to name the most important player, as a contribution for that great season in the Champions League, I would name Ivica Olic, who has scored vital goals, like the one which helped Bayern qualify from the groups against Maccabi or the goals against Manchester in the last minute in Munchen or in the first half in Old Trafford, where he chased balls which the majority of the players wouldn't have done. If Robben would have had the mentality he has now, then I guess Bayern would have won the final against Inter. Because if you take a look at that final, Robben just dribbled and dribbled, until the pitch got to small and it hasn't brought anything good for Bayern.

Robben is a great player which chelsea didn't cherish and sold him. He should be in the starting line up and he's a player able to fit right into any teams in the world. I've seen him played in the world cup, he's excellent. To think that he's played in spain, england, and holland? He ahs vast amount of experience which is vital for the team.
