Mass hypnotism good or bad ?

Is mass hypnotism possible?Can all of a crowd be brought in hypnotic sleep by one.There are news that some magicians have done it challenging a lot of people in a hall.Is mass hypnotism is possible,how would be it's affects to the society?. Good or bad? In my opinion bringing a group of people under one's command seems dangerous

i don't think it is possible , i have only seen it in a movie i watched sometime back ,i have forgotten the name but in real life i don't think it is possible. if it is possible in real life ,bank robbers would have tried it

It is not possible to hypnotise a whole crowd unless you selected that crowd before by testing them if they are all easy believers, easy to hypnotise.
What you see in the halls is partly fake, they keep the people where hypnotise is working for (pick them out of the crowd) and get them all together and work with them (or for example on tv).
You have to believe strongly that is will work and your own will shouldn't be that strong and you should surely not have doubts about what the magicians are doing.
It is a free choice to get hypnotised, if you won't agree with it, it won't work.
And if it comes to bringing a group of people under one's command: I think this is what already is happening since ages in some religions, countries, cultures. And yes that is dangerous esp. for those who don't follow the leader.
