I remember watching him in The Passengers with Anne Hathaway, I did not know who he was then, I only knew Anne Hathaway because I'm a fan of her. And then I watched The Phantom of the Opera and I thought the actor who played Roual (long hair guy, love interest of Christie) seemed familiar. And to my surprise, he really is familiar from The Passengers, the Watchmen, and even in Insidious!!!
What surprised me more is that he's been a singer for a long time! I thought he was not the one singing in The Phantom of the Opera. 
His voice is just splendid! I love their (with Emmy Rossum) version of All I Ask of You.
He really is talented and now I'm going to watch another one of his movies!!!

I actually saw him in The Phantom of the Opera first. Since then I have seen quite a few of his movies and I am a big fan. I also saw Passengers, Insidious, and Lakeview Terrace (second movie of his I saw). He was good in hard Candy, although that doesn't put him in any kind of flattering light, and while I thought he was good I wasn't a huge fan of the movie.
He has a new movie coming out called The Ledge that I want to see. And I know he's in Morning Glory, so I want to see that too. I also saw that he has a new tv show coming out called A Gifted Man...but I don't really know anything about it.

Ooh, a new movie! I will definitely watch it! Sounds like... suspense?
I have not watched Lakeview Terrace and Morning Glory but I'm starting to download his movies and I just finished downloaded Hard Candy but don't have the time to watch it yet. I'll probably have a movie marathon this coming weekend.

I've seen the trailer! I also think Patrick Wilson is the bad guy here. That it makes it more interesting! He's a religious psychotic freak in the movie. Nice role. 
It's getting bad reviews from critics but I will watch it anyway.

I've watched both the Phantom of the Opera and The Watchmen and you will not recognize him because he gain a lot of weight for his role in The Watchmen (the Night Owl). But I agree that he has a good voice, better than the Phantom himself (guy from 300, I forgot his name). Besides he and Emmi looked good together.

Yeah! I thought so, too! He wasn't very recognizable as the Night Owl. He didn't look nice there. Well, most of the Watchmen heroes did not look nice. 
I agree! He's got a better voice than Gerard Butler (300 guy) and yeah, he and Emmy Rossum did look good together, much better than the Phantom and her. I was actually wondering why they didn't they think of the phantom as a psychotic murderer.

yeah..me too..didnt know who he was at first..
saw him first time (or at least remembered seeing him) from HARD CANDY with ellen page . and seen him in few small roles in various movies..that i cant remember which one.. but recently in Insidious he permanently became a star in his own right..
so i remember more better now..heheh INSIDIOUS.. our fave rite bear??

I just downloaded Hard Candy and will be watching it when I have the time. But I can't wait to see him in another thriller/suspense movie.
