Hello guys. My article was declined in trion.com because part of it was a quotation or an excerpt from another article online. Is it possible to re-submit this article if I remove that quoted part? If so, how?

Hi Stuckonu, you can write a summary of the content, and then link to the original article in another website. As long as the bulk of the content is virtually different from any article published online, Triond will accept the article. That is the art of rewriting. For example, the original sentence is "Alex walks to his grandmother's house", you can rewrite as "Alex goes to the house of his grandma by foot". The meaning is the same, but the sentence is totally different.

If you want to show something from another article, you could always link to it, they allow links to other articles that way you don't have to quote it.

Part of it? Most publishers like originality and do not like displaying articles containing large quotation. You can re-write the declined article in your own words and/or with your own ideas or interpretation of ideas and resubmit.

The less you can use quotes the better. You are much better off with the article being your own original work so that you do get declined. Start over and write it original. Hope I helped.
