Organised my craft stuff last night

I organised my craft stuff last night (I've always been into different types of crafts from sewing to knitting to crocheting to cross-stitch, ever since I was a kid) so I have this great big plastic container with a lid I bought from Canadian Tire just full of my craft stuff. (All of my yarn stuff is separate.) As I was looking through it all, I noticed so many unfinished projects and things totally in disarray. I was so disappointed in myself, and so I made up my mind to finish up everything I got started in that box. At least I was able to organise the items in there.
I know at one time I used to compulsively buy things on sale - with my credit card, and a lot of stuff is extra stuff like bolts of materials and even my yarn - I have many balls of cotton yarn that I bought on impulse five years ago or more. I'm doing good there, using up all my old cotton yarn and making dishcloths as gifts and the like.
The majority of the stuff in my craft box is materials and unfinished projects, and I want to finish them by Christmastime, plus clothing that needs to be hemmed up. I did a lot of hand-sewing over the years, and I love that.

I don't feel bad there are a lot of us that start project/things and leave them unfinished it is part of our busy life. We tend to just put things away and say well take care of it or finish it a bit later.
I do however wish you the best of luck and hope you can finish everything before Christmas, I don't have my doubts you won't get it accomplished. If you put your mind to it you can get anything accomplished.
Good Luck!!!

I know a lot of people do it and I'm the master of procrastination. Thing is, I hate it with a fervent passion, and I want it to end in my life now.

You are a wise shopper because you buy in bulk or on sale to save your money. Nothing is worse than in need of something and being forced to buy the inflated price tag items, that are now certainly up in price as we come out of this global economy. You have a treasure. The rewards will only be forthcoming however if you act on your projects.
This is something I am guilty of, not acting. I will leave my project stuff in a big container, something I found lying around like old luggage or recycled cardboard box. I am just not that organized. I wish I was. If I made the effort, might even be able to collect some little pieces of paper from Mr. MacTire that I could use again.
