Switchfoot and Anberlin are playing a concert in my area tonight along with a free meet and greet. soooo excited. i really want to go. the problem is my mom and i share a car and i have to go work this morning to try and make the money to go then the concert is from 7 to 11 pm but my mom has to be at work at 11. trying to figure out how i am going to swing this. i could have her drop us off and go home till she has to be at work and then walk over to her job get the car and go home till she gets out of work but we live 17 miles away from the concert and her job. or i could drag her with us... or i could leave the concert early and run home to pick her up but then i would have to miss part of the concert either way with the gas prices as high as they are and the crappy gas mileage my car gets it is looking to be a VERY expensive day. where i am going to work is over 30 miles away, then back home to get ready is another 30+. back for the concert is 17 then if she dropps us off that is another 17 for her to get home and another 17 for her to get to work then we would have to take the car back home another 17 and back to get her...17 then back home again another 17 lol so im looking at over 174 miles today on my car that is 6000 miles overdue for an oil change and has a bunch of problems :( my car gets about 10 mpg. so im looking at about 18 gallons of gas. at 3.78 a gallon of gas im looking at close to 70 dollars in gas today. plus the tickets for my boyfriend and I will be about 30 a peice so thats 60 dollars. thats 130 for just the tickets and gas alone. at 5 bucks a bucket load of rock i will have to do 26 bucket loads full of rocks. :( sorry for doing all my math on here and what not but what i want to know is if you would do all this for a concert? if so why?
