Mine was alligator, I ate it when I was in New Orleans many years ago. I will try anything once too. It really did not have much of a taste other than hot cajun spice. Everything I ate down there tasted the same, all you can taste is the hot spice on their food. LOL

By themselves the food is not unusual. It is the combination of them that makes it so.
Take fresh white bread, put a very line fine layer of hellman's mayo on it, then scrap it off so there is only a moistness to the bread, a solid chocolate easter bunny properly cooled from fridge, using a steak knife scrap chocolate shavings from the bunny so that it sprinkles the bread, it will stick to the mayo. Put the two pieces of bread together and you have a really good chocolate and mayonaise sandwich.
Interestingly enough I was never a big chocolate eater, but I looked forward to getting that easter bunny for thoe sandwiches each year.
This works best with milk chocolate easter bunnies, or can use solid dark chocolate never use white chocolate just doesn't taste right at all.

LOL the family joke was that if my sister and I ever got pregnant we would eat real food.
Her favorite during my mayo chocolate sandwich days was velveta chopped, pickles chopped, and mayo mixed together. The drink of choice with this of course was soy sauce or the juice from the olive jar.
And yes when she was pregnant she wanted something normal liver and onions.

crocodile is really good. It has the texture of high quality chicken but tastes like crab. You just get lots more meat
blessed be, thank you for your response

I, unlike you, will not try anything unusual. I cannot bring myself to do it.

Hi, well done for hitting the 6000 mark by the way! That's some going! I'm not very adventurous when it comes to eating and tend to stick to the things that I like only! The most unusual food that I've tasted is trying something new at the local Indian takeaway lol!

lol, many people seem to do this. How do you know you dont like something unless you have tried it? Also, how do you know what you do like? surely there has to have been a time when everything was unknown? Lol but i think each to their own, blessed be
