I only get eczema on the hands during winter or when I do the dishes... Normally, I'd do the old fashioned oat meal treatment exfoliating my hands with oatmeal and a bit of water. Making sure it's not soggy oatmeal; you want that texture.Keep rubbing hands till dry. Now, put some lotion on your dry oatmeal hands then rub the excess oatmeal off with a towel. The lotion helps lock in the moisture for that softness. My bro also has eczema, he gets rubber gloves (non-latex), cover his hands in lotion, and keeps the rubber gloves on overnight to keep moist. Hi Guru, There are so many creams and lotions available in the market, but would not like to suggest any of them as I don't know the skin type you have the actual position/condition of the case. So, visit a Doctor and don't take any medicine your self.

True, but my methods has not yet failed me... Besides the oatmeal exfoliation thing has been seen on the TV show "The Doctors." I know I can go to a dermatologist for other skincare tips and meds - but whatever works.

Tea tree oil and neosporin eczema cream seems to work well for me. I've tried all kinds of things but not the oatmeal that you mentioned. I will give it a try when my eczema kicks up again. I never had it until recently and I didn't think anything could make me crazy but this does! Seems sometimes wearing the gloves at night helps but other times it makes it worse, so I just gave up on the whole gloves thing.
