MP3 Player Dead? - The MP3 player is not dead. It isn't the hotshot it once was, nor is it item coveted any more. You can find them almost anywhere. They are almost as thick in retail as extension cords. The gym is full of little MP3 players because they are discrete entertainment that doesn't intrude on others.

The MP3 player is not dead. It isn't the hotshot it once was, nor is it item coveted any more. That doesn't make the MP3 Player dead. It is in the discount rack, as Billy Joel once sang, "another can of beans". You can pick up a low end MP3 player for under $10. Great for stocking stuffers. As for having MP3 players or selling MP3 players? You can find them almost anywhere. They are almost as thick in retail as extension cords. The gym is full of little MP3 players because they are discrete entertainment that doesn't intrude on others. The only thing dead about the MP3 Player is the hype.
