Do you believe in prediction/prophesy ?

Hey friends do any of you believe in prediction or prophesy ? Many of us go to soothsayers or astrologers to know our future . They even take gems and other precious stones from them to transform their futures . Is there any validation behind this ? I personally don't believe in this and I always feel my past , present and future are in the hands of God . That doesn't mean I disregard others conviction . Each person has his/her others reason and supporting opinion . Friends I would like to know what do you feel about this ? Do share your opinion and experiences .

I'm a Christian and I highly believe in God and His guidance in my life and in the lives of my family. It's always Him that I count on about my future because His plans and guidance is a blessing.

Hi ronadelle I too am a believer in Christ and since I got Him in my life in 2008 I had to never worry about my life . He is always with me and I can feel His presence . So I need no prophesy or prediction as He is there to take my care .

I believe we have no choice of our own it is God that makes the choice and we follow . The deviations from God's path may be the play of Satan but God takes care of that too . If beliefs are strong than no questions of digression but our less faith in God makes us vulnerable and Satan gets the scope to play its role .

soothsayer, astrology, and other fortune telling is nothing more than psychology. The fact that someone can turn over a card and tell you something is nothing more than a theory or educated guess. You do more good for yourself by eating more fiber, lol.

Guesswork is based on a lot of factors that makes sense because it is totally generalized and the psyche can be used to mix, match and shuffled in any genre of thought and that's mysticism. :)

I don't believe in prediction and prophesies made by fortune-tellers, astrologers and the likes. In the first place I don't even believe Astrology or any kind of activities that predict the future. They could be either work of the devil or fake and all meant to raise funds for their own benefit.

Yes salonga I agree with you . I have every faith in God . I don't want to know what's in store for me in future as He is there to take care of all these things.
