Home From The Hospital

I ended up in the hospital around 9:30 pm on Sunday night. I got out around 6:45 pm on Wednesday night. My oxygen level was way down due to my COPD. Kind of scary, for sure. I am working a little more each day to go without the oxygen and it is working. I want to find some exercises that will help strengthen my lungs. They claim that the lung can never repair itself. I was told differently while in the hospital by a nurse. Have you ever heard this before? All feed back would be appreciated.

I never heard of it. May be lack of awareness about the same. I think you need breathing exercise which make you more healthy. Breathing exercise would help you to pump blood to all the parts of the body regularly and which help to reach oxygen almost everywhere as oxygen is the whole controller of our healthy situation. So observe what doctors suggests and wish you good health and fast improvement.

My late husband had a lot of his lungs removed after WWII and nature repaired most of the damage over time. I believe that almost any body part can repair itself. My advice is not to listen to the naysayers. The human body is a miraculous thing.
