some articles in the net say that there's just too much hype about the benefits of barley and that it's not true. I have tried it only once so i can't really give my opinion but I bought some Barley seeds from Amazon and we have planted them in organic soil. will wait for them to grow. probably then I'll have more to share

I used to eat barley in soup and loved it. The curnel, not the grass. It sounds very nutritious and I will have to check into it more. I suppose after you get to the curnel in the stores it has been produced and isn't as nutritious as the grass would be at that level.

I too would like to try these ingredients. However, stores around where I live do not have these many offerings. However, I do use Oats in my day to day diet.

I used to drink Barley Juice which I bought from my Auntie because she was a dealer of that product. I bought because I just wanted to try if it was really true. I was surprised when I drink it during my fever, it was gone after 24 hours. I used to have back pain and it was also gone after a week of drinking Barley Juice. I have frequent tonsillitis and it was really hard for me. But it was minimized after regular drinking. But I stopped because it was very expensive for me.
