about the movie STIGMATA

After repetitions of watching the movie STIGMATA, i just can't get the message of that movie... especially the lady Stigmata victim she said: "The true kingdom of God is within Us" especially why there is a traces of nailed marks on her WRISTS while the statue of Christ a nailed marks on Christ's PALMS; wrist or palms and why?
