In director David Schmoeller's taut chiller, perverse master puppeteer Andre Toulon (William Hickey) harnesses the power of ancient Egyptian magic to breathe life into his crew of marionettes, who morph into demonic killers. Many years later, a group of modern psychics looking for clues to explain a mutual friend's mysterious suicide end up trapped in a creepy hotel stalked by Toulon's miniature assassins. Paul Le Mat also stars. -Netflix Ok So this one for being old was kinda spooky. Puppets are kinda creepy to begin with so having a horror movie where they attack people can be kinda scary. The way they do people's nighmares and the things they are seeing in their head is done well, it is done in a way that makes it more creepy. The sounds in the movie though kinda grossed me out, like when one of the puppets spits out a leech, the sounds are just really gross. And one thing I don't get is everyytime the bad guy or the dead guy gets hurt his blood is always yellow? lol I wonder if they made it that color because he isn't supposed to be alive. But all in all this movie wasn't half bad, it was definatly on the creepy side. I think just about any movie made with creepy puppets like this would give me the creeps. So have you seen it?
