me this year. Since my operation, I now use cathetors. They come wrapped individually with about 50 to a box. So far, I have enough boxes to put gifts in for my husband, 3 brothers and 1 girlfriend. The boxes are green like Christmas and I'm putting Christmas stickers on the words that say what's in the box. The back part of the box, I'll have to put a bow because the words are too large to cover with stickers. I may have to use more than one bow or figure something else out. Our area only recycles corregated cardboard like they use for cat scratching boxes. Probably how they recycle it. These boxes are very thin. So what have you repurposed so you don't have to throw it out? How would you hide the words for the original use for the box?

I re-use gift bags. My grandmother used to cut up the pretty pictures from the Christmas cards and use them for name tags. I found an entire box of name tags she had cut when i went through some of her things after she passed. She used to save everything. The tinsel off the tree every year too.

Gift tags are good. I sometimes donate my X-mas cards to a charity that takes the pictures and sells them for post card X-mas cards or I do that myself. My Mom used to take the odd pieces of wrapping paper and make the gift tags by cutting a rectangle and folding it. My Mom used to save everything, too. I use gift bags, but people don't give me any back very often, so then I don't have any like this year. I like gift bags, but no one gave me any back and now I have an empty box every few weeks, so I might as well use them.

I'd probably just slap some paper around them... but that's me...

My wrapping skills with paper are very poor. My brothers and my husband can wrap things beautifully, I make a mess. So you're coordinated, huh? I'm glad for you.

I repurpose just about everything I can get my hands on. If you don't want to wrap the boxes, how about just scotch taping a Christmas card over the words and using it as name tag? You could kill two birds with one stone like that.

I can see if there are any that I didn't donate to a mission so they can resell them as post cards. If I can find one the correct size, that would work. Maybe I have some new ones that would work. Thanks and take care.

I would probably cover the lettering. What a good way though to recycle. I do a few things....like reuse wrapping paper when I can. I also use jars. I paint or make labels for them and fill them with candy and sell them at my craft sales.

That's nice. What kind of candy do you have in your jars.

I also recycle everything I lay my hands on. I have to buy some special meds to be injected before my chemos that have to be ketp in a cold chain. That means that they give you the meds inside a foam box with two pillow like cold things. When you get home you but the meds in your fridge and can throw away the box and the small pillows. Not me. I´m giving them to friends and family who like to keep cold water or beverages in the car. They can place the small pillows in the frezer the night before and use them the next day

My brother's girlfriend had the same foam and cold packs for arthritic pain meds. Those ice packs really come in handy. The foam box is kind of small, but I bring that somewhere when I don't care if I loose it or forget it.

Glass jars are a favorite thing for me to reuse. I also like various plastic containers. Hmmm, on your boxes you could make a tag of card stock and glue it over the words,

Card stock, that's a new one. I could glitter or decorate it. Thanks and take care.

Yes I like to re-purpose boxes also and I use bows and ribbons to cover anything I feel should be covered. Sometimes I gift wrap too. Since it is the back part of the box it will not be bad. You can probably put some color construction paper cut out to the shape of the bottom of the box also.

I suppose I could try construction paper. All I have right now is purple. The bows and ribbons I probably will do for the bottom. Glad you repurpose, too.
