After their humiliating at the hands of the Man City last week, Man Utd try to get their season back on track with a 1-0 victory over Everton. Hernandez scored the winning goal. Even thou this is a victory, I expected the response to be greater than this. But nonetheless, it is stil a good victory. Do you think Man Utd had got that defeat out of their system?

This is the score I predicted on a free betting site. I think United will score more goals on Wednesday when they will meet Otelul Galati on Old Trafford. I expect a crushing victory, at least 5 goals scored from United and none from Galati. And to respond to your question, the players forget the results very easily, only the press and the fans remember them for too long. I know when I played football, the previous result had never any influence on me nor my team mates the next week. So I think the result will come back to the players only when they will play again against City, but otherwise it doesn't play a too high role.

It was a good win for Man Utd from the perspective of getting the three points. But they were really lucky to emerge with all three points. Everton had a lot of chances to at least get a point of that match. Baines also hit the post, but in the end they could not score!! So that helps Manchester United to consolidate it's position at the top. Cheers! Ram
