So the local high school has significantly invested in a super network connecting over 2,000 school (not district, solely the school) computers, about 250+ Netbooks, and a new shipment of 300+ iPads! There is so much technology these days it may one day become overwhelming! Plus teachers are now innovatively incorporating technology in their lessons and lectures with a new program called BYOT (Bring Your Own Technology). So this brings me to my question... What do you think will be the result of this technological wave? Will it benefit our youth or possibly harm certain skills? And are you for or against a school with a primary dependence on technology?
