http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/01/citizens-united-constitutional-amendment_n_1069596.html It is not a perfect amendment, and is probably DOA, but this will allow the public one thing: To see who blocks voting on the amendment, and to see who actually votes against it, supporting their corporate masters over their human constituents. The first thought that came to my mind: It's about time. Second: This should garner massive bipartisan support. Third: How is Fox spinning this?

Obviously it won't go anywhere, but I at least give them credit for doing it the right way, through a constitutional amendment. I hope you realize that all this really is is a ploy to get support from OWS.

And the independents, and the libertarians, and the moderates, etc. The tea party would support them, if they actually knew that this is for their benefit.

The tea party has actually been successful in ousting incumbents, even making them lose PRIMARIES, without the big money that corporations spend. Money may be necessary to win, but you can't just "buy" and election with money. If that were possible, Ross Perot would have been president from 92-2000 and Donald Trump would be a front-runner right now instead of Herman Cain, who is nearly the lowest funded republican in the race.

Wow, I could see this to be dangerous. If congress can control the money, if one party gets the majority, it could influence the other parties spending and cut if off. This sounds dangerous to me. The only way I see to do it right is to allow all anyone to contribute. Everyone has a voice then, and are represented. I know many don't like it but that's life.
