Ohno Satoshi as Kaibutsu-kun

Ohno playing as Kaibutsu-kun is not really new news. Kaibutsu-kun drama ended last 2010 but due to the high ratings and the fact that kids loved the series, a special episode was created. The special episode also played as a teaser or prequel for the Kaibutsu-kun 3D Movie which will premier on Nov. 26. Japan of course :) Kaibutsu-kun is actually a manga created way back in 1960's about Kaibutsu-kun, a young prince who is supposed to take the throne over the Monster World but being quite immature, his father sent him to the human world and he should do good things there. He met humans, made friends and learned about human ways (Life, emotions, daily life, etc.) He also helped his human friends, saving them from evil forces of Demokin. Arashi sang the main theme for this drama and the single was called "MONSTER". Soon enough, a soundtrack followed where Ohno sang the Kai-Kai-Kai theme called "Yukaitsu Kaibutusu-kun". Yes, it's a series aimed for kids but eventually, adults got a knack of watching the series. What made me excited with this drama? Satoshi Ohno, when he started taping for this drama, is already aged 29/30! And he'll play a role of a monster prince who's clueless and immature. He'll be doing the same character for the movie. And by the way, the movie premier is on Nov. 26, which is also his birthday, making him 31 years old
