There's no easy answer to this question. Maybe discriminated is too harsh of a word. I think people are JUDGED by their looks, which can have both negative and positive results. Everybody judges, whether it is intentional or not. It's human nature to do this. Is it okay for some people to get the cold shoulder while others are warmly recieved just based upon looks? No, it's not, but it's virtually unavoidable. We live in a competitive and sometimes down right cruel world, there's no doubt about it.

This is a sad thing. If you worked around small children the way I do you would know this is a learned behavior. I make sure my children have plenty of multi cultural books, toys, dolls, movies etc. We even use multicultural crayons so they can make the people in the coloring books all different races. I sometimes wish everyone was colorblind.

Sort this out, and you will sort out the MAJORITY of the Worlds problems!!!
Unfortunately, it goes back Hundreds and Hundreds of years, and I think it will never change. Sad, but true!
I saw a film a few weeks ago, that was EXCELLENT!
It was shot in America, and it was about a Female School Teacher who was teaching little 7 or 8 year olds.
It was "Racial Awareness Week" or something like that, and she wanted the children to understand.
To do this, she said that the class would be divided into two, the "Blue Eyed" children and the "Brown Eyed" children!
To start off with, the "brown eyes" were not allowed to have a class break, and go into the playground, they had to stay behind! Then she made all the "brown eyes" have extra homework! and on and on it continued. Within just a few days, the "Blue Eyes" DEFINATELY had a "Superiority Complex"!!!!!
It was truely amazing how, in just a short time she had the class divided!!!!
The reason for the story is.......
Like I said at the start of this post....
Changing the World is a difficult thing to do...............
