Well I got two of these and two of the ginger ale with cranberry. Everytime I open the Cherry 7up Antioxidant it "splews" a little. It's not been shaken up or anything, and it doesn't matter if it's the first or the fiftieth time I've opened it, it still "splews". I wonder what is in this 7up that makes it any different then any other soft drink. Anyone have bought this, and had this same thing happen to them? Or any other soft drink for that matter. I understand the first time it splewing, but every time? ::Splewing:: The act of a drink fizzing up so much or so fast that some of it pours out of the bottle from the top, even with the bottle sitting straight up.

I only that softdrinks splews only when it's newly opened or when it's been shaked. But opening it up for several times and still splew!?! I wonder what's in there Makes me wanna drink some soda now without it splewing!

hehe, maybe it's the antioxidants that are in that makes it do that. It's kind of a "thinner" or "lighter" soda.

stowyk, I work at a grocery store and I haven't seen any yet, though I haven't been looking either. I've not had many customers get 7up products either way. We have Christmas stuff up the butt at work already though. enelym001, maybe contact the 7up company and ask them to send some over? If nothing else for the holiday season!

Sounds like quality control didn't pay attention. I think that the co2 in it is too much.

I used to drink alot of 7-up. My grandmother and mother liked to mix it with Dr. Pepper. It always has been very fizzy. I think because it has natural lemon and lime juice in it. And something in the addition of antioxidant ingredients probably that adds to the splewing.
