GOD smile at me .... I think

I'm not religious person (well .... I only going to church one/month) but more and more I thinking, seem like GOD smile on me yesterday.
Yesterday afternoon I fix a leaky roof of my house in a less friendly weather (the sky was dark and windy). Once finished I hope not rain, at least seven hours after I down from the roof.
Among the lag time (late afternoon to be exact) two of my neighbors give me a little gift (too long if I tell you why they gave it). I'm not expecting it but I am very grateful.
Exactly seven hours after I fix my roof, the rain fell( even not heavy ones). Not only that, at the same time all payments from several sites (including from MyLot) also arrived in my paypal.
If this is not because God smiled at me, then what????
Sorry if it looks silly, but I just wanted to share the happiness.

You are a religious person. Why? Because if you are not religious that idea "god" is smiling at you would not even pop up in your head. I would never think about that if I had a great day or are succesfull.
I would say the world is smiling, or I did a great thing. I would be proud on me fixing it.

Well, all I can say is that I feel happy for you. God is really good. He is always there to listen to us when we talk to Him or ask for His help.

Your thought is not silly. It is actually quite realistic. If I am a Christian, and if I prayed for God's help and provision in the morning, then I would truly be thanking God for all those things going well in my day.
On the other hand, if I do not believe in God, then I will probably attribute the string of successes to luck, chance or my good planning and knowledge.
So we see that our faith and values can define the persepective we have on life. There is something about God's smile that we must keep in mind. We do not want to limit God's smile to only those times when most things are going our way.
It is a fact, that God's sincere and loving smile may also be on you when everthing goes wrong. Trials are a part of life and something God uses for our own good.
This is the real deal: If you are a child of God and the guilt of your sin has been paid by Jesus Christ, then God smiles on you everyday, regardless of the circumstances.
If you are not a believer in Jesus Christ, then you are still an enemy of God. Don't bother looking for His smile. On the other hand, don't give up because His grace is sufficient to reach out and claim you as His own. Ask Him.

Maybe you are really grateful about the good things that has happened to you lately. Just be thankful to Him.
