Racism rear its ugly head

Racism seem to be in the news recently. First is Suarez on Evra and then Terry on Anton Ferdinand. The former is charged by the FA while the latter is still pending investigation. Seep Blatter did not help matters by saying that players on the receiving end of the racist remark should just ignore, shake the hand of the offending players and get on with the game. This is certainly not in line with the slogan "Kick Out Racism". I can't help but wonder, in this era, why does such things still happen. It just show that Racism is very much alive in the modern era.

Yes, I have also seen in the newspaper that some one has remarked about Blatter's comments that his remarks are embarrassing and that racism is very much prevalent. What will FIFA do next?

I don't think FIFA will do much to her President. It is all getting embarrassing and silly. And now Gus Poyet came out and labelled Evra "a crying baby". These episode is being those racist out from their closet. Unless something is done, this is going to get uglier.

What Sepp said is so irrelevant to the fight against racism. I wonder what he can do if he was the victim of a racist. Its is not wise for a leader to pretend when something is so wrong in his field of duty, FIFA should look into this matter carefully and decide what to do next.

Sir Alex recently made this comment that he is really surprised that there is so much racism in the game. In Spain, I have seen quite a bit of racism, especially when Eto'o used to get those monkey chants. But off late this is very much also beginning to rear it's ugly head in England!!
Cheers!

well, I think you are right.. Racism should be avoided and prevented to be happened again in football since it will ruin up the beauty of football game it self and no more fairplay as every single audience dream on..I think they should be punished really hard if proven guilty..Otherwise , same case will be repeating and repeating again ...

That true. I wonder when people will learn to respect others. There is no one superior in this world. We are all equal in the eyes of God. It saddens me to see someone talking bad of another race but anyway what I kno is that most of those people have personal issues that needs medical attention more than anything else.

We've known for a while that Blatter is a bumbling idiot... so you should'nt be surprised!
It's awful, It's shameful and it's bad for the game that in this era such primitave behavior persists. Until lengthy bans are handed out It will unfortunately remain part of the game
