Philippines

Hello Lotters, My entire family had been asking me to buy a Sun Cellular Sim card for weeks now. I had it one before but i was too lazy to load some prepaid on it, that's why it gotten expired, now i got a chance to buy a new one but i haven't told them yet THe reason why want me to buy one was that it has unlimited call offers on it.but the signal is too damn weak most of the time, i had to get to the upper area just to hear a good signal...

Hi, Letran, your system is really amazing as I read here. I have a nice signal byt I pay crasy money for my mobile calls and especially those of my daughter. The companies make new offers all the time but they only offer more and more minutes to speak for a lot of money.

Hello Fannitia, In here, three mobile companies are competing for getting more permanent subscribers by offering them cheap loads knowing that prepaid cards are not that sold to them most of the time. I never tried online prepaid before but probably because it's expensive.

That is the problem, if it has great offers it lacks signal strength and vice versa. The one I am using has good enough signal but lacks offers. The one my sister is using has good offers but mediocre signal. I am thinking of switching over to that one.

Hello Bouancy, I wasn't really after the offer because all of my family members are using Sun Cellular but then it's not bad if there is some one to call. Well, it's not perfect but at least they offer some sort of a unlimited calls not to mention it is much more needed during emergencies. have a nice day.

Hello Jia-sis, well, more like when the light is up even the moon lolz (what the hell am saying). Same here i don't use my phone like the way I used to before and really it's just something that can be used when there's emergency, i rarely text or call now a days. take care.

I bought a suncellular sim card for the same reason. My family in the province wants me to get one since the offer is simply amazing. YOu can call unlimited for less than 20 pesos. That's a lot of saving and you can buy aprepaid load for 200 pesos which you can use for the whole month. I like my suncellar subscription since they offer the best value for my money.

Hello Jtj thats what they do when ever they call, if she can't hear they would call on the land line first and then she would open up her cell and then receive the call from there. They have Sun subscription, and now i have mine but just a sim card at that. have a nice day

Hi! I was a loyal smart subscriber before. But after my siblings turned to Sun cellular, i changed too. i found their offers so cheap and on a monthly basis. you get unli text already. its a good network to be with however, they need to improve on signal. their unli call is no good! I cant make a call immediately after i had one. you need to wait for 30 minutes bfore you can avail it again! but im happy though. =)

Hello Shellster, I was Loyal still to Smart Subscriber the good part is that I am definitely using a DUel SIm type of a mobile phone. Better than nothing i think we should always have time to call our relatives. have a nice day

I will really recommend you stay on the urban side of the country where the signal is "A OK" but dont worry having a sun cellular sim is actual good because they offer cheap stuff.

Hello Davaome, They do offer cheap prepaid loads but only good to their own Sun owned sim cards. but really it's better than having them called my Smart number and then loosing their prepaid in the process. anyways, have a nice day to you.

Hi there. you bought a sun cellular? =) I am using one for about 4 years now. so far its been good and i also had it bundled with a landline to go with the service. :D you never know when you will be needing some access to a landline so its best that i have it. Sometimes i have to say though that the signal is not very good, its choppy, and it gets cut off or would turn to silence a couple of times. you cannot have a call more than an hour too... hehe it will automatically be cut off. :D So there... hmmm i still am hoping their services will improve... fingers crossed/

It is the same here. Certain sim is only good in some areas. Because of the poor signal of some of the sims I have no choice but to arm myself with 3 handsets to accommodate these different areas usage of sims since I am always on the go.

I think it is okay to buy Sun Cellular sim if your family have that too. Sun really have many offer that our other two network provider don't have. I just wish that they will improve their signal connection. Anyway,I switch to globe for more than a year now. That sim was from local supermarket and it has many added features along with globe

Hello Bluespygirl, The entire Family does but I don't use them more frequent than before.I think they will need more Cell sites if they want to increase their signal perse. Too bad though i should have bought the ten pesos usual sale coming from local sales person instead of the 21 pesos that i bought in a cell store. have a nice day.
