About digg,please help

When i do some tasks, sometimes the task creator ask the following : Click through from Digg to the source story before Digging it, ...... Click back and Digg the story I knew how to digg an URL, but what does it mean to "click throug from Digg to the source story before digging it? Does it mean to use the "submit link"button in Digg? I have tried to use "submit link"button, the copy and paste the URL into it, but it said the URL is not correct. If any one can help me, i will be very appreciate, thank you first!
