Blatter is a person who is running FIFA in a strange way, even a bit dictatorial. He should be off the game, he is full of controversy and he is not seen with good eyes by many people. I don't want to comment too much on his statements, as there cannot be said too many things. I guess he said "I am sorry" with a half mouth, so he didn't really mean it.

I don't remember when he was elected to be FIFA president, but I guess the majority of the football followers are sick with him. He has many strange ideas, he always want to complicate things and he doesn't take the responsibility for anything.

I think Blatter is not a great person for the top job. He simply keeps creating controversies every now and then and directs unwanted attention for the game. I think it is high time he steps down and someone young takes over the realms of FIFA. That might also accelerate the use of Video technology in the game. Cheers! Ram

I am not sure that Platini is the best choice to replace him. Currently it is not really clear who are the good candidates. We will need to wait and watch. Cheers! Ram

give me reason so you can say that Platini is not good.. i like his idea when he want to limited the financial budget of every club.. he appoint the team like City and Madrid who make the football like a industry but forget about the basic meaning of football

I think Blatter should be the honorable thing and resign from his post. He might have apologised by his outburst reveals much about his personal stand on racism. It shows he is opposition from the "Kick it Out" campaign.

It's surely not enough. If only things can be solved with "sorry", would there be any need for laws? Blatter can be saying that openly because he's not the one being offended with rude remarks about his race, color and whatever religion. Imagine if he's not in his original color, do u think he will accept a handshake and sorry? I do not think so, and given his power in FIFA, he's bound to make that whoever disappear from the soccer scene forever.

so maybe Blatter must understand the feeling of Ashley cole, Rio Ferdinand and so on.. so he must ask in his deeply heart, if i were a COle or Ferdinand, i will accept the sorry for that statement??
