Help with Ad/Spy Ware

Somehow an ad software called $20 Surf has gotten itself downloaded on my computer and I cannot figure how to uninstall it. How can I get rid of this?

It is really hard to determine a spyware and adware. However, they have almost the same behavior when it comes to attacking and infecting a computer system, you just need to be very careful enough.

Did you ever get this resolved? If not I would try a software called CCleaner http://www.ccleaner.com. This free software cleans your history, registry, and cookies. It also allows you to interface with the software downloaded and installed on your computer, so that you can adjust or remove applications. If you were unable to see this program in the regular windows Add/Remove programs screen, you may be able to see this program within this software and remove it.

I did get it resolved. I think it was by using c-cleaner on the advice of a friend. Thanks for your help.

If it is spyware or malware, Add or Remove Programs may not work. Scan your computer and quarantine it.
