Do they actually follow those great men?

There are some who often quote different great men on different occasions. They are usually treated as sober, sophisticated and intellectuals. But do they follow those in their real life or is it just for show to give an idea of the depth of knowledge they have?

I think that most are curious and being intelligent leads them forward. Depth of knowledge or curiousity? Persuing the knowledge and wonder of knew things. Give an idea of what is available out there. What the other knows and how easy it is to pick their brain and learn all they know.

WQhich great men are you talking about? I know they followed Julius Caesar, Jesus, Mohammed, Gandhi, And Martin Luther King, and many others . so I assume if a person has a message that resonates they will follow them.

I think that leads man show is not the way it is presented.
because everyone has a personal life and sometimes allows himself to be different from what you show to the screen.
even more so I can say that those who keep the screen much riotous life of some other cleverly concealing it and not others.
so everyone has their vices and bad habits.
I do not believe that they have so much mixture.
