to my little knowledge i think it is Christopher columbus who discovered this beautiful continent.it was in the year 1492.hence we are celebrating columbus day

I dont think it was Columbus but I think it was the Native Americans. BTW, did I spell Columbus right? I think I did but I am not sure hahaha

WELL for us Americans..we think it was Chris Columbus..but i did some digging..and i dont htink anyone really knows for sure just like ice cream..I am prepared to and do at this time emphatically declare that Columbus did not discover America and that a Norwegian Viking by the name of Leif Erickson did and did so in the late tenth century. He really was theer first way before Columbus..but thats my opinion..:)
