Life reserves many surprises. Today by using the cyber media we meet and come accross many realities and we come to know the world events just by navigating in the computer. The social sites offer a great occasion to communicate and exchange ideas. It is a very good experience. These forums offer us to display multiple activities and discussion over many realities. We plunge into the sites without knowing fully the nature of activities of the site. Though there is Faq or the guidelines and we confirm them by signing, how many of us are really aware of those norms? Here in mylot there are big brothers and big sisters to correct when we out of ignorance or out of laziness or curiosity mis use the pattern of our expression. Mylot is really exceptional. It is very sad to notice that the color and the number goes down, but sometimes innocently that happens. But it is rather better to lose the number and the color of the star than get banned or suspended. By reading the opinion of others sometimes we really do not comprehend full the worth or meaning of it and we feel sad, but as we go ahead we see in those members a concern , a help to promote our talents for better. Though time passes the process becomes painful at times specially when you do not fall in line.

No body should deserve a negative rating for deferring opinions. It is what makes a discussion lively when there are positive and negative reactions to the topic discussed. At the end of the day, a consensus solution can be derived from a healthy debate. Taking matters too personal doesn't reflect a matured thinking mind.

Since this is a discussion about growing mature (leaving out the forum part) I will start out by saying, thank you. Zandi458 you are the only one so far to answer part of my questions. You are right, I think, when you express that public opinions do matter and that complaints or praise can effect a person status. I like to think of myself in a state of growth, learning new things all the time. I do however disagree with an idea being put forth that mylot is a place for debate – for one thing that is not what mylot officially says about itself nor should it. I am relatively a new person to mylot but even I can see this and have come to feel very much apart of it and that is why I want to add my two cents worth. Mylot is not a debate forum though people can choose to have healthy debates here or engage in interesting disagreements, surely that is possible and why not if it is positive? I really stand up though and disagree strongly to consider that maturity is all about not taking things personally. - see an active discussion I am against this for this reason. We need to sometimes look at the facts, stand back impartially to understand if this is what it meant by impersonal, I do agree, with that. However, I find in the world in general and part of the world the part where we are online, people will try to use an excuse of a non-emotional, non-personal reflection to impose something on another. The idea of in order to be mature this is a requirement is not necessary the correct way to go and people sometimes learn this later on. I think it is sending a wrong message to youth even to suggest that maturity is thinking in non-personal ways. In many situations personal, emotional and heart felt reasons is exactly what we should be looking at as well as impartiality in order to come to mature conclusions. I hope you see how I both agree and disagree with this kind of statement – “taking matters too personally.”

that is nice to see mylot as what you picture it to be. i also see it as one friendly site. one can also learn a lot from here, and know people virtually from other countries and make friends with them. do not be discouraged of the nega things. there are always the good and bad of things.

I tend to think things out sometimes extremely detailed. Why is that sometimes the most simpler answer is the best one? Friendly - learn - get to know people

Mylot is one social site that has been in existence for a number of years and housed people from all corners of the world where ever there is internet coverage. It is unlike other social sites that attracts people merely for socializing and for what ever purposes beyond my comprehension. While mylot is truly unique in the sense all like minded people congregate to interact with one another sharing their experiences and expertise so we in mylot can benefit from each other to add to our knowledge bank. Unfortunately among the right thinking people here, they are also people who we thought to be friends are actually wolf in sheep's clothing who deliberately neg rate others for what ever reasons best known to themselves. Maybe others miseries are their joy. What ever it is, I do enjoy my time spent in mylot apart from these occurring unpleasanties. Surely, the many wonderful friends we have here would not in anywhere affect our continued presence in this wonderful place. It is but a challenge that we face to our peaceful existence here.

Dear friend of Mylot. I think that more than genuine in your discussion, you are perfectly centered on the point of the potential offered by this very valuable site. At the gain of which, however, can always be welcome, as well as an integral part of the activities performed here, we must also recognize that fundamentally one person in Mylot is completely free to express themselves freely. Right or wrong is an opinion, as you have pointed out, are always ready to correct companions and maybe to help on any topic, even on matters concerning everyday life. Talk about on the score of the star, well frankly I do not give him too much weight. One count for what it really is, certainly not for what he has. compliments again for your feedback. Yours faithfully.

Hi Srjac0902, All too often people sign up here and don't read the guidelines or the FAQs. I've learned to pretty much steer clear of discussions that I know are breaking the rules here. I don't like losing points or losing money, si I will steer clear of them. I think most people do mature while here and do learn what works and what doesn't. Those who refuse to grow up sometimes do get banned here.
