I love this movie- although it is rare to find men such as Paul Sutton(Keanu Reeves) these days- a man who would pretend to be the father of the child to help some sranger.. I love he grandpa the most,since he is very funny and he is the main reason why Paul even stayed and fell in love with Victoria(Aitana Sánchez-Gijón). The music and the scenery was really nice an i got to learn abut some new culture and history too.

I think I have seen this movie too- it has been a long time, it is quite an old movie since Keanu looked so young then, and he still does now. it was a sweet movie with a simple story- the things that made it good was the scenery and music, and history too.

Yap, really a recommendable movie. I just wonder if the character played by Keanu Reeves can be true in that era, well I guess it is. By the way, thanks for the BR my lady.

Yes, it is an old movie but Keanu Reeves still looks like the Paul Sutton until today- I wonder how he keeps staying young looking. yes, the scenery was really nice and I loved the music too although I could not comprehend most of the lyrics.

Definitely one that I watch on occassion. Found it in a dollar bin on VHS. I put it in when I need a strong dose of romance without the comedy aspect that I lean towards. I like the wedding ring. A gold band around a piece of chocolate. Honestly, I would have eaten up the chocolate.

Yeah, to bad he only had one box of chocolate and I think the grandfather was the only one who ate them. i was not so convinced with the ring though, too thin and looks fake- but it was a cute effort coming from a choco box.

I agree with you. I made a copy of that movie and saved it on a CD so I can watch it when I feel like it. But like you said, finding a man like Paul Sutton is very rare. Many men nowadays would first look at the situation and would think only of what other people thinks. They will not take the risk of being involved with a pregnant, even pretty stranger. Thus, I find the movie as some sort of a fantasy. Just enjoy it and feel romantic when you watch it.

yeah, finding a man like Paul would be linked to a fantasy these days.. since many men have even run away from their girlfriends if they found out they were pregnant. But I still believe that men like him are here, but maybe I can just count them with my fingers..
