"IF YOU SWEAT IN PEACE, YOU WILL NOT BLEED IN WAR"
It is a lesson to soldiers by their commander. I think it is also useful for us. If we work hard in our good days, we will not suffer too much in our bad days. Are you agree.

Like in our military in israel says :"hard on training , easy on fighting".
That's true I think for many situations in life that you can train yourself for.
It's in studies , sport , competitions , games... preparing ourself mentally and practice improves our functioning in the real situations. It's like we experience the real situation more times.

As many israeli guys , I served at the army , but I was not a fighter , I was a storage keeper. Thank you for loving israel , I guess we need it while we are surrounded by many angry neighbour countries.

I doubt if that is true. Dutch people were raised like that including the saving for later. By now most of us don't have saving money at all anymore and there are more and more foodbanks (you can get food once a week over there for free). Even people with own business have to go over there now. A lot of families live on the street.
You will bleed and suffer no matter how much you sweat in peace. And the worst thing of all is you forget to live while you were always sweating.

No. I dont agree. War is not a selection with many. They are forced into war. So whether you Sweat in Peace or anything else... that doesnt make any sense.
However, I do agree with the other one - if you work hard in good days... there are less chances of suffering in your bad days...
Say me to be a believer of fate or destiny... but that is my opinion. I believe we all are destined to have this or that... happiness or sorrows... and they will come no matter what. The only thing... we can take steps to make their impact a little less
