We got two cell phones this month!

My husband works in a government office. He is a maintenance staff and has close relation with computer maintenance. He had a kind of project this month. He has already told by his chief that if the project run succeed, he would be awarded something. And it was succeeded! He was allowed to ask anything he wanted as his reward, but he didn't allow to ask money as the reward. So he asked cool cell phone as his reward. And he got not only one, but two! He chose Samsung Galaxy Wonder for himself and he gave me Samsung Galaxy Fit for me. I think it is one of the coolest gift I ever got fro him. Maybe for some people the cell phone is cheap and easy to buy. But for me and my husband those cell phones are precious cos they cost expensive for us. In my place, Samsung Galaxy Fit costs almost $180 and Samsung Galaxy Wonder is about $300. We are not too rich family so getting those expensive gifts makes us very very exciting..

Wow, what nice gifts that your husband just received. And it was so thoughtful of him to also include you.
At least now, the both of you could always update each other even if you are far from each other.

yup..you're right..I know he doesn't like to express what he feels. he is not quiet person actually, but he is not expressive. birthday is nonsense for us cos we never treat it as our special day..and other celebrations are included..

yeah..you're rite..it was very cool gifts I ever got..Actually I prefer to get cash to the cellphones..The total amount is almost $300...!! LOL..But I should thank God for His bless to us this year..My husband never gives me present on my birthday or on Mother's day (he even never conratulates me..!!). But I know that he really loves me and cares of me, he is just not an expressive person..:)

it`s cool gadget you know..
sometimes i think that Samsung tablet is good too..but with a Lenovo laptop is enough for me..
sometimes i think i want to buy samsung fit or Samsung Ace, but my old nokia is enough too.
but iam human too..
if the people gave me samsung, i will accept it..with many pleasure of course..

yeah..I am so lucky then..I never thought before that I will get new cellphone this year cos my previous cellphone is still in a good condition so buying new one is not our priority. So I was so so exciting when my husband went home and gave me that cellphone. I'm not a mobile person actually so having sophisticated cellphone never lingers in my mind. But when there's someone GAVE it for free, yeayyy..!!! I'm very happy of course..LOL..for someone who works in a mobile world like today we need to have at least two gadget, cellphone and notebook. I'm so lucky too about notebook cos I can use the latest Lenovo (like yours) for free too. But it is not given, it is lent by the office where my husband works. It's a kind of one of facilities I think..:)

even i bought from my cousin, but iam satisfied with this lenovo..
since last aidil fitri, i had use this gadget as my target and i did it now..my cousin sell it

ya, I 'have' Lenovo notebook..but it is not mine actually. my husband's office lend him this laptop as one of facilities. But he is allowed to bring the laptop home. I'm the one who often use it not my husband..LOL..he prefers PC to laptop cos he can play his favorite game on PC..
what is my Lenovo type? Lenovo E125, ThinkPad Edge..my husband told me that it is one of the latest models of Lenovo. I don't much about the development of It world and products, so if he lied to me, I'm sure I wouldn't know..LOL..
Yeah, I am so lucky of having all of these and of course having my husband too. Do I treat him well..?? mm..I don't know. but we support each other..oh, c'mon..get married soon and you will find that having a partner in this life gives us more fun than being single..

Wow, what a wonderful news! I can feel your excitement:) I always wish to have something like that which is free of charge:) My husband's company had the drawlots early this year. And he won an iPod Nano. He gave it to me. If it was an iPad or iPhone, perhaps I will be much more excited. I think you can regard this new cellphones as your Christmas gifts. Yeah, I also think that it's the coolest gift I ever received from someone. My husband spoiled me I think. LOL. BTW, iPod Nano is not bad at all as a gift, moreover it's free of charge! maybe iPod Nano is only a kind of warming up and the main course is still waiting..so just wait your husband to give an iPad or iPhone someday..LOL..and just like Adhyz said that I don't celebrate Christmas, but it's okay for you to greet me cos it's everybody happiness..

Thanks Ankitgarg..I told to everybody here that I never thought before that I will get that cool gadget as a gift. I led an ordinary life that day, when suddenly y husband came home and gave me that cool thing. I never asked him to buy me expensive thing during our marriage cos I know that he is not rich enough to buy me those expensive things. So I was so surprised when he just gave me that cellphone, and I was so happier when he told me that it's free so he didn't need to pay for it..It's wonderful..

Hi, Enique!! you're true about being paid off. He has invested not only time but also his all power to do this project. He often goes home late during this project. so when he got bonus, he was so satisfied cos it means that all his works are appreciated by his colleagues. As Adhyz said, I don't celebrate Christmas cos I am moslem. But ya, I will enjoy this cool gadget..LOL..

@indi: Hi, Indi..thanks for your comment..I know that I was so lucky having a husband like him who is not selfish at all. you know what, he was actually able to choose any kinds of gift he wanted. he could choose a very expensive gadget if he wanted it (but he would only get one, and it means I wouldn't have a new cell phone today), but he decided to choose not too expensive gadget but he got two cell phones. He did it cos he knew that my old cell phone was actually out of date so he wanted to give me the new one. I'm so proud of him..:)
@Adhyz: Hi Adhyz..I decided to sell my old cell phone cos it is useless to have two cell phones. the price is not good enough for a good cellphone like N73..yeah, maybe because it is an old type of cellphone so the selling price is not too good. but it's okay cos I get the change now, and a better one..:)

I think everybody will be happy when they were given a gift. I can be very happy when my students give me T-shirt for my daughter or maybe a piece of cake for my birthday. Gift is more than a thing I think, cos the sincerity of the people who give the gift is more important. It's not about thing but it's about how to give attention to others. So I was so so happy when my husband not only gave me a T-shirt or cake but a cellphone, the latest model..!! I was speechless cos I was so happy receiving it..LOL..

I think it is great that your husband's boss bought two great phones. I bet you are proud of your husband for his greatest accomplishment. It is great to be appreciated for for one's hard work. I know my husband and I had to get a prepaid cell phone because it was expensive. Money has been tight for me and my husband as well.

yeah..just like what you said that I'm so proud of my husband. he is a family man and he works very well during this year so he deserved to get good things due to his hard work. he often tell me about how hard he works in his office and thank God he can pass all of the obstacles very well so far. he has been working in this office for about four years and this year is the first time for him to get expensive goods from his office. he sometimes gets allowance too but not this much. so I was so grateful getting this kind of cool thing and hope he will get another next year..LOL..

Of course that is a cool gift he got, the good thing about it is he got two and you were even given the other one. It's lovely getting freebies you know. We don't need to spend for it so if I were given those fones too I will feel happy about it.

it's so true that the gift is so cool. My husband seldom gives gift during our marriage. But I can understand him cos his salary is not big enough, so the salary is only enough for earning our daily living. so gift for me is out of my wish. So it was so surprised when he went home and brought cool cellphone for me (I never imagine UI can own a cool gadget like Samsung Galaxy..!!). I was so happy so I jumped unconsciously..LOL..He has worked so well this year. He deserves to get those bonus..:)

Whatever it is, if we get it free it must make us more happier than we should pay it by our own money. and it wil make us much more exciting when the thin we got is an expensive thing..it's so mush exciting..LOL..what do you think? :)
