The Usual Suspects

Philippines

Starring Kevin Spacey, Gabriel Byrne,Chazz Palminteri, Benicio Del Toro, Kevin Pollak..they looked so young then. "A boat has been destroyed, criminals are dead, and the key to this mystery lies with the only survivor and his twisted, convoluted story beginning with five career crooks in a seemingly random police lineup.- IMDB" It strarted out as slow for me, but it became interesting..although i alwasy knew who was Keyser Söze- it wasn't made obvious but many movies have used that tactic before.. It was a fun way to spend an hour and just to see a film about thieves, killing and finding a legend- devil?

Usual Suspects was a good movie. A little unusual is my memory. I am watching The Sound of Music right now, a really good movie. Last night, I watched Wonderland or The Wonderland Murders: something like that. I already have forgotten the name. I will look it up after posting this response. Violent, but excellent. Based on a true story.

I love Sound of Music, quite a long movie- but still good songs and cute kids. Never heard of Wonderland Murders though- but I do love movies based on true events, makes it more exciting..

It is one of those iconic movies like Sixth Sense which has a great twist at the end. I have not seen it in a while but the final scene with Verbal is easy to recall. The fact that it starts off as a caper movie then movies into an action drama meant the first time I watched it I could not see what everyone thought was so brilliant about it. The ending makes the movie. If the ending had been simple it would be another action movie like so many others. It is similar to Reservoir Dogs, in that the ending justifies the story somehow. PS I like your avatar I think Geri's game is very good short.

Thank you for the best response. It is so iconic that even to this day the scene at the end with the teacup is still used to show the person understanding that they have been tricked. It is no where in the same league but Lucky Number Slevin is pretty good too.

Yeah, the film really wants the audience's complete involvement and undivided attention to really know the plot of the movie. And to really understand it, one must not miss a scene or the entire film. Thanks for your time and also for liking my avatar.
