Have one drawer in your kitten assigned to be a junk drawer. When anyone comes quickly throw everything into it. The area behind your couch is great for throwing the laundry when you cant fold it.

I heard that lime juice on cabinets clean very well? I tried it once and it worked as for the dusting I hate doing it but it is a funny thing because I ran across this post and I was getting tired of sitting here being on the internet doing multiple jobs trying to make $ and hardly any of my offers I did approved so I walked around the house and saw that it was dusty and thought I am going to dust and go clean my room. I also have one of those feather dusters will a long adjustable pole on it to reach high places do you have one of those? It helps if you don't have one they are cheap. Anyway have a good day.

That can be a problem as some people consider cats their best friends.
Does that mean only dust to the cat's height, or the heights said cat can reach?

I'm allergic to dryer softener sheets ,but now they're making sent free and hypoallergetic. Where I was working, she had a dryer sheet in the clothes. She told me to just throw it away.
Well I had read that they help with static cling for dust on tvs and computers. They create an anti-static layer so that after you dust them, the dust in the air doesn't redeposit back on. Every time I dusted their tv set, but the time she came down to see it, she told me to dust it again. The heating air vent would come on before she came down and the tv would suck dust to it. I'd be doing something else by then like folding laundry.
But not that day. She came down and told me good job on the tv set. So those are my tips, scent free because they can cause allergies or even asthma attacks in some people when you use the sented ones. And dust your tv set or any other dust magnet surfaces with them. I wouldn't use home made ones that you get ideas from online because they might leave oil on screens, probably ok for wooden stair banisters or something. Besides their tv screen was scratched up and you couldn't hurt it.

One tip - Initially we should use a dry cloth and dust. Also do it one-way. Afterwards if required you can use a wet cloth and clean. cleaning wipers may be used for cleaning television screen and also computer vdu

I say baby wipes. They are just damp and one use and toss along with the dust.

Don't dust at all? After a while, it doesn't get any thicker...

Hah, I am going to look for a shorter best friend. Less dusting! Well, lets see.
I don't like insects in the house, but in some places it is unavoidable. I have learned to get rid of the big fast ones by spraying them with Scrubbing Bubbles foaming cleaner. This works especially well with black widow spiders which love to be in my garage in the hot summer months. It makes their nasty little feet slippery and they cannot crawl away.

LOL that really isnt very good advice honestly. What if someone drops in who is taller then your best friend and sees all the dust that is higher then your best friend. My house hardly ever gets dusted so they would see it no matter if they are tall or not.

When people arrive unexpectedly - throw all unwashed pots and plates into the oven. Replace cushions and do a quick check on bathrooms. Get a family member to go outside and welcome them and engage them in conversation whilst you do these things. If time, stick a knife in a lime or lemon and put in microwave for a minute fir a nice clean smell in house.

I dislike cleaning with a passion! When it comes to dusting and other cleanig I will procasinate big time! I seem to clean when I really need to or leave all projects on my vacation times to do then! I desperating would love to afford a cleaning company to come in like once a month to clean! Until I can I will keep on cleaning my way!

Better tip dust everything. Just because someone cant see it doesn't mean it isn't there. Think of all the dusty things that are above your head that a simple whoosh of air could dislodge and land on your food or in your hair. Not to mention the stuff that flies around and goes right up your nose. I wont even go into ceiling fans.
