It has been a pretty good year for us. What has been some of the most memorable moments for you this year? How are you celebrating the evening?

I am just beginning to travel again after many years of not traveling. I went to see a girlhood friend in Colorado last summer. It was wonderful! And in the fall I went to the AARP convention in Los Angeles and was able to visit another friend whom I had not seen since the 1960's. Again, wonderful! I am spending this evening eating a lot of wonderful foods, having a little spiced rum, on my computer and watching the festivities on TV. You are going to love the following. I responded to a New Year's Eve discussion begun by an Australian mylotter. I mentioned that I was going to be watching D i c k Clark's annual program plus all the others. I channel surf. However, I spelled D i c k the way it is supposed to be spelled as a first name. I tried to post my response but was not allowed to because of the name (word) D i c k without the spaces. The computer was reading it as a naughty word, not the name of a man. I had to edit it in order to post. You gotta love it. Happy new Year!!
