Your presence is awaited

I am talking about my active friends here who are responding to discussions regularly. I do not care about the friends who just add friends and disappear. They are just mylotters for me and not friends. At home when I am busy with housework I sometimes make a note on my notepad about topics for discussions and then as soon as I log in I post those discussions. That is the reason for 2/3 discussions at a time sometimes. More so when I know I will be online the whole day and have time to respond to my discussions. I have taken a note about not revisiting my discussions. Have started that today after reading your response. Actually for some years I was mylotting only from office because I did not have a computer at home. Just managed to buy a laptop for myself a couple of months back and am now getting used to my new routine of spending some time online from home. But even then after coming home from work after 12 hours it gets a bit tiring and sometimes I am not able to keep up with my discussions. But have kept the notifications pending for response later. Need to work on this soon. It is true that everyone is not able to share on all topics. I too sometimes have to delete notifications without responding because I am not able to share anything on that particular topic. And thanks for your response. This discussion is giving me a little insight on what I am doing and what I need to do.

You certainly have an open mind and that is very pleasing to see. We all can learn something everyday because as long as we live we will never know it all. When I first started here on the lot I had to learn a lot of things. Some people here gave me some good advise and I took it and improved. Of course not all advise is good and you have to choose what will work for you. I have seen you visit more discussions tonight than normally and it is a pleasure to get to respond back and forth with you.

With most of us working full time and managing to be online for just a few minutes on and off I think it is difficult for us to give full attention to everyone. I am now on leave and therefore managing to be on mylot for more time. After I go back to work may be I too would start lagging behind in my responses. And power cuts is becoming a major problem everywhere.

I think everyone is just too busy multitasking that they do not get time to visit everyones discussions here.

I think all of us are multitasking. We have regular full day jobs to first think of. And after that whatever free time we manage we have to do all our online activities. Have got very good responses for all the discussions I started yesterday for which I am very happy!!!

I have started three discussions today and I am happy you have responded in all three. I too am a bit choosy in choosing discussions for responses because many a times there are topics of which I know nothing about. And politics and religion are two topics that I prefer avoiding.

Hi Viju, I have seen you in a lot of my discussions. And your responses have been interesting. Good to know that my discussions are not boring. May be my friends are busy elsewhere and may come later.

Hi Hatley, We have been friends here for quite some time. We have been responding to each others discussions. I do like reading your responses because they are quite good and interesting. Thanks for saying that my discussions are not boring. I do try to start discussions where even the newbies here who are not too good at English will be able to understand and respond. Otherwise many who are trying to get used to communicating in English find it difficult to understand some of the discussions started here.

I typed out a nice long response to this post and the net just went pooooffff. And my response disappeared. Cannot repeat it all again Have no complaint against you because you are always around here. Its the others who rarely come and when they come I dont know where they disappear. They forget to meet me. And I miss them.

There were friends who were always responding to my discussions. Now I miss them and am searching for them. Hope they see this discussion and respond.
