I wish for a drawing tablet with LCD screen

But it's so expensive that when I asked my sponsor (father) for it he said, "You're skillful enough with your current tablet, why would you want to that one? Just keep on taking care of your current tablet so that it'll last. And besides you're not a professional yet to be using such an expensive thing." My reaction was "just as expected" but I still couldn't help but be disappointed. It seems like the experience is similar, before, when I first asked for a laptop and said that I don't need it. It took more than 12 years for him to buy one for me when I DIDN'T ask for it when I finally stepped into college(BSIT). That really hurt. Let me whine/explain for a bit: I may be the only 1 of a 100 daughters who would not ask something unnecessary from parents unless if it's something I really want/need. I don't ask for clothes, I don't ask for shoes, I don't ask for NYADA. All I ever asked was school supplies in all my life. It was thanks to that 12 years that I had to keep on imagining what I need to type into the computer, in my school's computer laboratory, the next day that I suffered an average grade because I can't keep up with deadlines in school projects. I had to manually write down all of my reports and be careful not to commit any mistakes or it's back to square one again (now, whenever my classmates borrow my notes, they'll always ask whether it's my handwriting or not...because my handwriting looks like it was typed from a computer). Now do I have to draw every ads I make? Draw on paper, first, every animation I create? Draw using pencil, eraser and a bunch of paper to create a good output and redraw them all in my computer manually? You will think, yes, with his answer. And I have to wait... WRONG! I'll be buying my own drawing tablet with LCD screen through my own efforts. I may have 0 money compared to it's $1,999+. And that 0 is still temporary. I WILL know where to get them. And I WILL REALLY get them. If you were in my situation, what will you do?
