Do you think it is true that some things, good or bad does come in three's? especially bad luck or bad signs.. we are given three warnings, or we notice three similar or related issues happening in us. Like for me.. i noticed that i was sort of devastated for not only a couple of times, but just when i thought that everything is okay, and working well for me and my relationships... i found out, or i discovered something that ultimately shattered me again just when i was picking up the pieces... Have you guys ever noticed this happening to you before?

I'm sorry to read of your sufferings, and I hope things get better for you in 2012. However, I can't say I believe in things, good or bad, coming in threes, specifically I mean. That said, all the evidence certainly suggests that sometimes that people go through periods of multiple trials or sufferings. Which is to say, a person suffers more than one trial coming at once. And so it may seem to them that instances of bad luck have come in threes or some other multiple. It can be very very hard; and all I can say in consolation to anyone who is suffering terribly in life is...once a person has come through their period of trial, they can emerge a stronger person. It's easy for me to say of course. For my part, my Christian faith is a great consolation for me when things are hard for me; and they have been recently. We learn to rely more heavily on God, which builds our faith.

Hi Chiyosan, yes, it happens like that. There is a reason why the ancient people say that all things come in threes, and that is especially true for bad things. I do not know the reason. I think we all envy those who have all the good luck, especially when good things come in threes for them. it is not uncommon to see people getting job promotion, getting marriage, and have the good luck of getting their dream house cheap. The worst is when our luck cycle is in the opposite extreme.

I've noticed that things tend to happen in threes. Always the way things happen, usually good or bad. Sometimes I really think it happens that way because that's what we expect, like a state of mind. If someone thinks they're smart, they get smarter, if they think they're beautiful, they are. If someone thinks things happen in a chain of threes, it will. It's all in the mind, but it's such a strong belief, it's hard to get rid of or reverse.

Bad luck, bad signs...these are all superstitions. I don't believe in superstitions although my father have lots of superstitious beliefs that he impose in the family to observe. Good things and bad things happen in life because they are part and parcel of every human being's life. If something bad happens to me or if I am experiencing some difficulties, I just focus on resolving it and avoid pessimism that other bad things are on the way. I put optimism in my daily life as part of my gratitude that despite life's difficulties there are still lots of good things to look forward to.

No, I don't believe that. What I know is either when you feel bad or happy don't feel it too much as when you face the opposite thing you won't get so surprised or unprepared for it. It does not mean that you should not feel happy when you should and feel sad when you need to..but you don't get overwhelmed with the feelings. we know that what we did it will only result two consequences and it all depends on us. We just need to be ready for either two of them.(^^)

hi chiyosan, I think everything happens for a reason. I also noticed something, If you will always think negative thoughts, you will likely to have a negative life events. I'm not sure, but that's what i noticed. Once i started my day with bad thoughts, something really bad happens throughout the day. So i started to become more positive.

Is this really true, or maybe true on some. I have friends who keeps on telling me about this. Whenever she feels in trouble she always says there will be another two, then when it arrived, she will say I am waiting for the last one and then I asked what could that be, and she will answer that problems always comes in three. She told me about problems or negative vibes but she did not include if some good things comes in three too. I remember it but when I am having problems of my own I hardly remember it. I only deal with the problem and disregard that quote. I did not notice it comes in three, I hardly remember my problems before. Maybe because problems are interconnected that is why it comes in three. On the other hand, I dislike expecting some problems when I have problems, because it is like attracting the problems to come immediately. I most likely focus on the problems to solve it rather than thinking that there will be another two will arrive later. I guess it is true for some people, but I am hoping not with me.

Oh you are right, but i thought all things, good and bad do come in thress. heheh i never thought it is only applicable to bad lucks. but you are right.. we ought to make sure that we think of how to solve the problems we face and not to actually invite more problems to come to us, right?

I have to say that while there are many people who do not believe in bad luck, I do. I know for a fact that bad things happen in threes, it has happened to me more than a few times when I have actually counted the bad things as well as the good and they always come in threes, I am not sure why. I do know that I believe that they come in threes. When this happens to you, there is only one thing that you need to remember, when there are bad things that are happening, they will end and be replaced with good. There is always a balance, just like ying and yang. If there is bad, good is sure to follow.

That does tend to be rather the case as people might assume. The thing that a lot of people seems to come in threes is deaths. Whether it is people that you known personally or famous people, there tend to be times where those come right in clusters of threes. Bad things in life often come one, two, three right in a row in general. It is just one of those things where three seems to be the magic number to say the very least. There are just going to be times where all of those bad things happen at once. As they are going to happen right in threes and there is going to be something that is going to lead to a supreme level of frustration and rather, a bit of annoyance to say the very least. That is just the way things tend to rather go.

I think it's all in your mind.. when we think of something we tend to focus on that certain thing and we disregard other things/factors, it's like we try to find a pattern in things that are happening to us..I hope you get what I mean
