Winter in Kolkata just appeared to disappear soon. It shows that climatic changes are going from worse to worst and soon Kolkata will lose one of its favourite seasons. Environmentalists may throw light on the probable cause behind such a small span of winter in Kolkata but on behalf of all Kolkatans, I can say that we miss it very much now. How are you enjoying winter in your area? Have you too noticed any change in its nature and duration?

Well, I'm definitely on the other side of the world from you, but I can certainly tell you that this winter has been a lot different than any of the winter seasons that we've had in the past several years. This year it has been pretty much rainy and wet, but not cold at all by any means. We've had an average daily temperature well above 40 degrees and not many days that have gotten any colder than 20 degrees. We've only had a light dusting of snow so far as well, nothing that you can go out and play in and they haven't cancelled school due to weather either.

This year winter in Mumbai had started earlier in December and is still continuing. It has been an unusual winter and temperatures have been fluctuating virtually everyday. We also had the lowest temp in a decade twice in this month.Yes weather patterns are changing every year and thi i going on all over the world, could be due to global warming.

We are having a pretty normal winter. The ski slope just opened which is late for them. We had snow three days ago and then rain every day since. Will continue and probably get more snow soon. Washington state has had extreme weather and they are just north of us. Four more months of this.

Where I live,Wisconsin, winter has been late getting here! We hardly got any snow before Christmas! Now we finally have been getting snow! The temps have been not as cold as usual either! So when we get less snow in winter we get alot more rain in the spring and summer! I know there is global warming and every place on earth is being affected in some way another!

Hello, you are climate is changing in these days. You are missing it but we are fed up with winter. Here is my area winter is terrible. Here temperature in night fell to less than 5 degree celcius. Here it is very hard to sit at night. Because of winter here time of schools are also changed. We will face this situation for more than one month.
