bleach is my best friend when it comes to this one. i suck at doing laundry. hahahah

Use bluing if you have it available where you are. It's blue, but it gives the appearance of making white things look whiter. Just follow the directions. I used to rinse a white cat I had in it. Made him look pretty. LOL
If you can't find it, I'm sure it can be bought online.

In the past people used to use something called bluebag. This is actually a substance which was included in the whites wash and dyed them very slightly (imperceptibly) blue. The same principle has been used in detergents in the past (hence the little blue flecks in some detergents).

Bleach tends to turn my whites orange with my water. Here i use a product called iron out...and also citric acid. I also use the citric acid on my colours and they dont go as grey.
Honestly not sure how much citric acid costs or where one would buy it. We got outs in bags from my dad when he worked on the oil rigs. I do know though that people use it to make bath bombs/fizzes as well though so it is available to regular consumers.
