Good day Fellow Mylotters,
Well, this story of mine was too old to tell but what to do. Memories are kept on flashing back to my mind. It was seven months ago when I decided to resign from my desk job work to handle our family business. But, apparently, when I came back, members of the family who are also involved on the plan suddenly turn their backs and refuse to help either. As a result, I was left alone on the plan. That I felt trapped and feel difficult to move on. Although I am doing my best to have an earning on-line and off-line but earnings generated from here are not quite enough. Thus, this situation pushes me to look for another desk job work outside the country. Since my previous job was also outside the country, so I am keeping my fingers cross to get a good outside opportunity again. Due to this, often times, I keep on saying to myself, if I only knew that this will be the result of my resignation, I did not pushed it during those times.
But, what to do, I am all here. So I just need to move on and get going again.

You did not do anything wrong or stupid by making that decision.Back then the circumstances were different and you had encouragement and support from your family but then the unexpected happen and everything you thought shattered,well this is life It will stab you at the back every chance it gets.So be strong and don't lose hope you made that decision because you wanted to excel and grow and i am sure you will.Believe in yourself don't rely on anyone but yourself.Get going airasheila get going.

Well i am glad that you are glad with what i said.I am sure you will excel and get opportunities, you just need to keep your head straight and be positive have a positive mindset and things you want will get to you for sure.

Well, I am glad with what you have written. And I am really looking forward the time that I will excel on the things that I am working on. Aside from that, I am also looking more opportunities to work again outside the country so I can re-establish what I have lost during the times that I was living with my so called family.
Hoping that God will grant my prayers and petitions immediately.

I'm so sorry to hear. Just think of that as a lesson for you. Even if they're your family members they can't be trusted. I'm sorry to tell this, but this is what I believe. Things happen for a reason. You might not gonna know, there might be a brighter opportunity waiting for you.

i am really looking forward that a great opportunity will knocked on my door very very soon. as i really keep on praying to God, that He will grant and give me an opportunity to have a nice work outside the country.

That's the best attitude to keep in such situations like yours. We learn what we can from what had happened in the past and the move on. Life is full of uncertainties and sometimes our choices may seem to be the wrong one now, but we would never know what's in store for us tomorrow unless we keep on going :)

Don't feel too bad with the result.
You must be thankful partly with the situation.
Thu it puts you into a hard situation that you are facing presently- but still you have enough reason to be grateful.
You may ask why, what's the good reason behind this bad situation.
Well- You came to know your loved ones/family/relatives (whoever is involve with the primary plan and left you)
Now- you know who they are (sometimes we thought we know our family/loved ones that much- but wrong- we never knew them that much until such event like what happened to you occurs)
So, next time, take time to listen to yourself- for in times of troubles, not even the most trusted/loved one will be there to lift you or give you a hand.
Try to find another job and I am sure you will find it -I wish you all the luck.
Save for yourself and learn from your past experience.

Hmm.. I wonder why your relatives turn their backs on your family business? Is it because the job is hard or is it because investing more is a risky thing to do? Well, no matter what the reasons are, you have to stay tough if you want to keep your family business alive. If you think you also want to let go of the business, then it is only right that you find another job.
I don't know what your expertise are but why don't you look for a job that offers night shift? That way, you can still work on your family business in the morning. But make sure to get rest too. I know it is easy to say that but hard to do in real life but just try it out and see what your options are..

Hi airashelia, so so sorry you have gotten yourself into this
situtation...Its difficult to make a move to another position
especially when you go into it blindly...Now I know this wasn't
the results you were hoping for, but there had to be a reason
why your family turned and backed out of the plan...You know
you might have just made a hasty decision because they had not
really devote themselves to the business as planned..
All I can say is this was surely a learning experience for you and
I am sure you will not go that route again...But I am wishing
much luck in getting a job out of the country as you want..If
you hang in there and make your move when the oportunity arises
I am sure you will once again be happy in your life..
Hang in there!!!!...remember GOOD things happen to GOOD people...

Back then you wouldn't know it would be like this, unless you know how to see the future. However, since it had been like this, you have no choice but to go through with it. I don't know about your family business so I can comment on it. So I hope your luck will change for the best too.
