I had two of my teeth extracted

Yesterday, I posted a discussion regarding my fear of not knowing how minor is minor when the Dentist said that I need to undergo some minor operation considering the condition of the two teeth that he had to extract. Well, I had two of my teeth extracted and the process went on well. I must say that the university dentist is really good at it. There was really no pain though I must admit that I felt a little uncomfortable. After the process, I slept a little so I could continue with my work in the afternoon. Later in the afternoon, the anesthesia was wearing out and so I could feel a little pain already. I am an obedient patient. So I took the medicines as prescribed. I will be taking them for the next few days.

I went through the same procedure sometimes last year. I was under lidocaine but still felt uncomfortable and much pain later on when I went home. Not very comfortable procedure indeed.

poor dolce_vita I am sorry you had to undergo this procedure, Hope you are feeling better and have a lovely weekend. I only had two wisdom teeth dug out years ago as the roots were U shaped and the dentist had to work hard on getting them out.

When I had my wisdom teeth cut out I wanted to see what they looked like, but the dental surgeon wouldn't let me. I was like, c'mon!

Two teeth at the same time?? Wow. That must have hurt a lot, I mean, after the anesthesia wore out. Whenever I had my tooth taken out, I always want to sleep while the anesthesia is still doing its wonders. So that I'm already asleep when it wears out and the pain start to come.

Hello dolce_vita. Now I also have some problems with my teeth. I am starting to get worried about them, but because of my laziness, I have never tried to go to a dentist though I planned to. When I hear people say that it is painful, I feel sacred and give up, but that is not a good solution for me. I decide to see a dentist some day this year. Thanks for the discussion, friend.

Whenever a doctor (or in your case a dentist) tells you that you need an operation, it sounds scary even if it is only a minor one. Just take your meds and get well soon. :)
