oxymoron:logical or not?

in our philosophy class, our instructor asked us if oxymora(plural of oxymoron) are logical. Oxymoron is a figure of speech which is a combination of two contradicting words or ideas. For example, beautiful disaster,working holiday, and living dead. . .are these terms logical? I don't know. .

They can be depending on one's point of view. I mean, let's say you're a pyromaniac and sets a house on fire. You basque in the beauty of your creation which for everybody is a disaster. So he could easily have quipped that it was a beautiful disaster. So I guess what I'm saying is that since these are words, people can interpret them in different ways. I hope I made myself vaguely clear :)
