If someone were to travel to every single corner of the globe.. so perhaps on foot, to every single land that exists, how long do you think it will take? Do you think a person can accomplish this in a life time? Would you like to try it, walk across the world?

On the Internet I found out about a man that has traveled overland and sea to the majority of the countries of the world. He has used transport like trains, buses and ferries. He isn't allowed to fly on planes. It would be impossible to walk on foot to every area in the world. Some of Australia is desert and it wouldn't be comfortable to walk. In a lifetime it is hard to visit every single country in the world.
I have visited Canada, the USA, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, St Lucia and Colombia in the Americas. In Asia I have visited Turkey, Israel, Jordan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and the Maldives. Over in Africa I have traveled to Tunisia, the Seychelles, Kenya and South Africa. In Europe I have been to the majorities of the different countries. I am going to continue to travel using planes to help me reach far away destinations. My next trip will be to Argentina and Chile. I will set off there next month.

I think a young, healthy person could probably do this. I think roller blading or skate boarding might be better. A person could probably do this in a life time. Depends on how long you would stay in each locale. Alot of variables.

I guess that walking would be the cheapest way to visit every country in the world, but I don't think that I have the patience or energy to try that. I think that you would also experience a lot of things that miss out on when you travel by car, bus, train or plane, and I think it could be an interesting way to experience other countries, but I wouldn't do it myself. I prefer to travel in other ways and go by bus or by train or by plane if I want to visit a place that it far away from my own country. I don't know long it would take to visit every country by foot, I can't really imagine that, and I wonder if anyone has tried it.

It would certainly be interesting to try it. Though, I think I would not want to do it on foot. Anyway, if the point was to travel to every country in the world and get the tour around the most interesting sites there, I am sure it is possible to accomplish it in a lifetime.
