celebrity become the DPR member

what is your opinion about the performance of ex celebrity which had become DPR member, like Tere, komar, Angeline Sondakh, Eko patrio...
Had they contributed to the better of indonesian people??
or their quality is same with another DPR Member??

as long they do it for people,no problem. but what i see now, our country celebrity still doesn't have qualification to became DPR member.

@henki : thats right..everyone had a same rights to be DPR member even to be a president..
some of people in our legislative board is stupid..They know that they had no capacity and knowledge to be DPR member, but they still pushed for it, as long as they believe they had much money for "paying" us for choosing them

just what i tell in my response. even it celebrity, or else profession can be DPR member. but they must know what they do. they are vice of indonesian people. in fact, the requirement is : they work for indonesian people, not just for they self.
what happen in our DPR now, is fact if they still not serious to became DPR or MPR member.
Most of them are big joke to me. I didn't see any contribution made by them to our country @Olleenz (3398)

No no no no no NOT Again.. Please no more celebrities becoming the legislative member.. As we know that most of the celebrities only can ACT in front of the camera.. And what do you think if they become the DPR members, yes they will act and pretend like they care the social communities.. What will happend if they become our DPR members? Nothing.. We are still live in misery, and they only getting richer from it..

i think maybe the selection for being a DPR member is like the job interview..
they had must get many selection for being a DPR..
so its not about you must be rich, but you can do some of your function as DPR member..
if the selection for being a dpr member is still like that, iam pessimistic that many good dpr member we can get it in the next election

well, i do not know exactly they have good qualifications as people representatives or not, but i know for sure that celebrity or not, they do not become our representatives. they just enjoy with the money from our taxes, and enjoy to see our suffering. they do not care with the people who choosed them.

I'm not following those celebrity's action in DPR.
But surely from many people's comments, they're unsatisfied with those celebs.
But it make me also wonder. So, who should be the DPR member? Who has enough quality to become one? Is it very difficult to find one in our country?

the quality are the same... celebrity and DPR essentially do the same job. They put up a show to make general people believe in the illusion they created.

like i said, they put up a show to make us believe the illusion... Pong paint DPR roof, bring 3Kg LPG gas tank to DPR... it's a show he make. Everyone who want to enter the politics must show that they care about us, that's how they gain our vote. after he sit at DPR he will be like everyone else. Look at Miing now... it's very different than when he's not on DPR yet.

The quality of Legistative members have deteriorated.
And the appointment of the members are not based on
the capability factors, which is why everybody loaded with money
can propose themselves as members of the "DPR".
They have contributed nothing but caused a big loss to the country.
