My cousin lend his iphone 3 to me. He said I can use it as long as I want but there's one condition to his iphone 3 its eating his credit. The iphone 3 surf on its own he said. Is there something I can do about it? How can I check? Is there a virus on his iphone 3? I don't know what to do its my first time to use iphone.

U can check via roaming data. Turn if off it's is on. By default it should be off if u don't have the right data plan bundle to it. That's what happens to most people when they are overseas. Those autoroaming data just keep piling up and when their bill reaches them, they get a shock to see thousands of $ they have to pay. In the case of you, i dunno how it works and why would it be eating his credit when u are the one using it?
UNless u are using his number? No right?

Yeah that is all so crazy. Companies really rip people off.I'm glad that I just have a basic cell phone. It's awful that people get stuck with such outrageous bills. I wouldn't want to get a thousand dollar bill for having my phone. That is just ridiculous. Anyway they can get money off of you they will use.

Hiya syoti,
Do you think that anything could be wrong with that phone or something wrong in the Contract or maybe the two things?
I have not got an Iphone but others here have one and do not have that kind of problem so I can´t really guess anything else.
Have you got the Manual of the Iphone itself? See if you can get hold of the instructions at least and the basic charges.
I have a Motorola and it´s about 5 years old now but I don´t want anything else at the moment.
Most of them I know are on Facebook with their Iphone and nothing goes wrong with them.
They also surf other places and are getting normal bills.
So your Iphone or rather your Cousin´s one is rather puzzling to me at least.
Hope you can get it sorted out.xxx

I haven't heard of this syoti. I don't have problems like that with mine. Have you called your provider is ask questions about this particular issue. They may can work something out with you on it.

Whatever which comes in the market for the first time eats up a lot of money from the users's pocket. However, though it is now common, you need to chck with your service provider with your problems. There may be differnt plans and options which may require highlight and not to opt. So, based on your exclusive settings and the service provider's usage charges, the figures may varie. So, before do anything, it is recommended that visit the gallary of the service provider and get it resolved therein.
Thank-s

You cousin is delusional. There is no way for the phone to surf on its own. That is just plain crazy. He probably got the phone and did not pay the iPhone package for 30 dollars a month. If you don't get that you will be charged for everything you do online. And he probably did that and thats why his credit is bad. I do not believe there is anything wrong with the phone, it might just be your cousin.

you can temporarily cut off the service if it is bringing your credit to the roof. report it to your service provider so that it can act accordingly. you can also have it checked with an iphone service center so that it can take a look at the problem. i wish it would go well soon.
