Honestly I am not so familiar with this actor, I just knew him because of the Oscars that I watched yesterday morning. It amazes me when he was nominated as Best Supporting Actor at age of 82 then he won at the same time. As I could see he is still strong and young looking like he is just late 60 years of age. I mean compare it to the other old people the same age as him or even younger they can't even stronger enough as him. Well I know this is depends on our healthy life style. But then at least at his age he can still act when usually at that age people are already retired and just resting at home.

Christopher Plummer played the role of Captain Von Trapp in the top grossing film Sound of Music opposite Julie Andrews. I believe there are DVD's of this film available. You will see how handsome Christopher Plummer was when he was younger. Some people know how to take good care of themselves that they are able to retain that aura of health and physical fitness even at an advanced age. I was happy looking at him when he got his Oscar's trophy. He didn't look like he was 82. Another movie star of the same caliber is Clint Eastwood.

Thanks for that information. At least now I can recall him a little bit but of course I was able to know her more especially now that he is in the Oscars. I already forgot who is the another oldest person who have receive the award and how old is that person.
