When Wisconsin Gov. Walker took on the Public Workers Unions he was painted as out of touch with the people. Just recently Minnesota passed a bill and sent to the Governor that would allow districts to consider many different factors in laying off of staff and not just base layoffs on seniority. We all heard about the Union Governor fight in Ohio but there are several states that have chipped away at the strength of Public Sector Unions. Over the years Unions have had laws passed that force Union Membership, Layoff are based on seniority only, that Union can negotiate the school day and school calendar. Now it seems that States are starting to take back their responsibility to look out for the interest of all citizens. Recently the following states Colorado, Georgia, Oklahoma and Utah have started to less the power of the Unions and to give management more control. Gov Walker and the Republicans took a bold move and now are taking the heat for it, but it allowed some other states to start to get a handle on Public Sector Unions.

I think America is pushing back on the radical take over of their country. I think the Obama administration pushed a bit to hard and it woke America up. Even Democrats are realizing that what our president is doing is not good for business or for the country as a whole.
